Yet Another New Partner Organization Adds Music to Winter Grants

Berkshire Hills Music Academy is added as an Approved Partner Organization

The Think Alive Foundation is proud to announce the new working relationship with the Berkshire Hills Music Academy of Hadley, Massachusetts, a post-secondary school for musically gifted young adolescents between 18 and 30 with developmental disabilities. Berkshire Hills strives to use music "as a tool to teach life skills, independent living skills and vocational skills," according to Director of Admissions Kristen Tillona.Think Alive plans to offer between 1-3 grants to the schools' children through their outreach Lesson Program, and perhaps down the road sponsor a child to attend the school.

Founder Tim Enfield sees great promise in this particular partnership. "Not only are we expanding the variety of grants that we offer and opening the Think Alive funding to an entire new segment of the disabled community, but having a based right here in the Amherst, Massachusetts area, my new adopted home, makes me feel great. I will personally be able to be involved with the grant recipients' process.
