Support a Child
In the coming months, ThinkAlive.org will undergo a transformation where you as a donor will be able to choose which of our approved adolescents you'd like to support. You will see a face, know that you donated "one swim lesson", "a camera" or perhaps something as simple as a new basketball, helping the disabled adolescent explore his or her newfound passion. You will also receive a short letter written by the child you support, recounting their experience.
At Think Alive, we wish to ensure a personal approach where real change is seen—we must avoid the "blank check" concept, where donors never see the children they see. This new function, to be launched during the fall of 2010, is step one towards this goal.
Until then, you support the achievement of disabled adolescents by donating to our general donation fund. You can send in a donation form to our office, or you can click here to donate via Paypal. In the short-term, these offer the best means by which to support our Achievement Grant program, while the new donation functionality is being developed.
